Inspection

If you have done your research and have chosen a supplier without Shituo sourcing service, you still might need assistance in verifying that the chosen company truly exists, does what it says it does, and can produce exactly what you need. A trip to China is always a good idea, however, often it is not enough, and it is more convenient to have someone knowledgeable doing a check for you. Our experience suggests that usually companies, that are looking for sourcing from China, benefit from three basic quality assurance services that Shituo offers:

Background check

The key element to a proper verification of a Chinese company/supplier is the familiarity with Chinese business practices. Shituo vision and experience have been honed by decades of business operations.  Through years, the team has mastered great Chinese local tools to conduct proper research.

What is being checked?

  • Company basic information such as business registration, capital, owners, etc.
  • The registered and actual location;
  • Coherence between the licensed products and the offered ones;
  • Certifications;
  • Goodwill/reputation;
  • Capacities vs. your requirements to produce.

On-site visit

Once you know that the supplier is trustworthy, you would probably like to visit the manufacturing facilities yourself or at least have a detailed and up-to-date inspection report. Shituo can assist you with both visiting the supplier or going there for you and preparing an extremely comprehensive report. Manufacturing audits are a helpful tool when the production has been launched, too. Thus, inspections are done by Shituo at these stages:
  • Site checkup before starting a business with the supplier;
  • During production.

Goods inspection

Verifying the quality compliance of the production result before shipment is essential. If you are not able to do so in person or need some assistance to ensure smooth communication and the adequacy of all the procedures, Shituo experts are ready to support you by inspecting the products at the following stages:
  • During production;
  • After production completion at the manufacturer’s site;
  • Just before loading the goods into the container.
